Hi! I’m Audrey (she/her)
I am a Registered Social Worker with the the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers. I completed my Bachelor of Social Work at the University of Waterloo, and my Master of Social Work Degree at the University of Toronto with a specialization in Health and Mental Health. I have experience supporting individuals with their mental health in various settings, including community centres, hospitals, and in private practice. In each setting, I have worked with individuals experiencing a variety of concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, stress/overwhelm, and grief/loss.
In my free time, you can likely find me on a long walk with my dog, at a workout class with friends, or trying out new recipes in the kitchen.
My Approach
I specialize in working with individuals (aged 18 & up) who are struggling with relationships.
I practice from a combination of an attachment-based and a trauma-informed approach to help you process and heal past wounds and cultivate a sense of security in your relationships and within yourself.
I draw from evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, to equip you with the necessary skills to manage difficult emotions and build healthy relationships with others and with yourself.
With the understanding that relationship struggles often go hand-in-hand with other mental health concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and issues with self-esteem, I take a comprehensive approach to your mental and emotional wellbeing in order to create positive change in your life as a whole.
